Your consultation

How the private clinic runs.

A focused, unhurried private clinic offering a comprehensive range of gynaecological investigations and treatments — in clinic where possible, and at hospital where more involved care is needed. Most patients start with a one-hour consultation: Mr Orabi takes a full history, examines you if appropriate, performs any same-visit investigations (such as pelvic ultrasound or a smear), and discusses the plan with you. Where a procedure is needed, this can usually be arranged within one to two weeks.

What to expect

A private room with a chaperone available, time to ask questions, and a clear written summary of the plan after your consultation. Where investigations are needed, blood tests and scans are often arranged on the same visit.

How to prepare

Bring a list of any medications, recent results or scans, and a written list of your three or four most important questions. If you are bringing imaging from another hospital, please send it ahead of time where possible.
